Harry Fisher

August 16, 1924May 21, 2012

Harry Lee Fisher was a hard working generous man who always went out of his way for others. He was a character who loved his milkshakes and afternoon Cokes. Harry was willing to volunteer to help friends, work VBS at his church, First Baptist of North Channel, and often cut yards for neighbors even into his early 80's. His dedication to Christ and his church was an example to others. Harry's kind heart, quick wit and love for others made him a truly special man whose smile touched many. Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Wynelle A. Fisher; son, Bruce A. Fisher; mother, Marie Vore and husband Doc Vore. Harry is survived by his sister, Mary Louise Blakeway; son, Michael Fisher and wife Dee; son, Dennis Fisher; Grandaughter Tracie Anderson and husband Ronnie Anderson; Grandson, Chris Fisher and wife Nicole; Grandsons, James and Stephen Fisher; Grandaughter, Tori Walts and husband Kyle; Great Grandchildren Reid Anderson, Sam Anderson, Noah Fisher, and William Walts; Extended family, Theresa and Randy Richardson. Special mention of love and gratitude to Autumn Leaves on Cypresswood, and the amazing staff and caregivers for all the love, laughs and care over the past year; and Robby Sheltz for all the visits, milkshakes, prayers and scriptures. Committal Services celebrating Harry's life will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 10:00 am at Memorial Oaks Cemetery

I'll miss you Mr. Fisher! I'd only had a few months to get to know you but will miss your smile, your sense of humor, and your after lunch visits to our office for a Coke! With fond memories....

Rest in peace "Fisher" my dad called you that so many years ago. The Fisher family and my parents used to go to Magnolia Gardens.
