Hazel Anderson Copeland, 88, was born in Garrison, TX on March 17, 1925 and died in Humble, TX on May 31, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Buddy Anderson. She is survived by her son, Rick Anderson & wife Nancy; granddaughter, Emily Lavin & husband Dan; grandson, Steven Anderson & sister, Betty Reinsch. Hazel grew up in East Texas and spent most of her adult life in Houston. She was employed for many years by Lee Venetian Blind Co. and after retiring, worked as a volunteer at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital. Hazel always had a smile for everyone. She was a loving wife, mom & grandmother who will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 4-6PM on Saturday, June 1st. Funeral service will be at 2PM on Sunday, June 2nd at Brookside.
