Hector Resendez

Hector Resendez, 61, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 25, 2026.

Born on March 20, 1965, in Houston, Texas, Hector spent his life in the city he called home. He earned his GED and was a dedicated employee of Essential Staffing. Hector was known for his strong work ethic and took pride in the work he did throughout his life.

Hector found joy in the simple things. He loved listening to music, reading, working, and cheering on the Houston Astros. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and his kind spirit and quiet presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodolfo Resendez.

Hector leaves behind his loving parents, Juan and Hermelinda Resendez; his siblings, Alma Lopez, Lucia Rodriguez, Juan J. Resendez Jr., Yolanda Resendez, and Sandra Resendez; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Though Hector is no longer with us, his love, dedication, and the memories he created will remain a lasting source of comfort to those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003, US, on July 31, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

A Rosary Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003, US, on July 31, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

Visitation will also be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003, on August 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on August 1, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
