Helen Sarah Malone

She was born in Joaquin, Texas on July 23, 1923. One of eight siblings, Helen was raised in Humble Texas. After graduating from Humble High School in 1940, she went on to attend Business School before meeting the love of her life, William Arthur Malone, whom she married on November 25, 1943, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After WWII, Helen and Arthur made their home in Houston Texas, where Helen was a full-time homemaker, raising three daughters. Helen was a wonderful wife, mother and Meemaw. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, and an appreciation of good food.

Preceded in death by her husband Arthur, daughter Debra Acker, and grandson Chad Colarik. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Whitehead (Jimmy Elliott) and Rhonda Jackson & husband Mickey. Grandchildren Troy Deggs & wife Sonia, Tara Skye Howell & husband Robert, Deedra Wollin & husband Daniel, Trey Whitehead & wife Tandi; Great Grandchildren Dillon Breazeale, Brandon Breazeale, Hannah Wollin, Madeleine Deggs, William Wollin, Parker Hamilton, Ryland Hamilton, Nadine Whitehead; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Helen will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
