In Loving Memory of Helen Guerrero Tobias

Helen Guerrero Tobias was born on January 8, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Frank “Poncho” Guzman and Delores Guzman. She passed away peacefully in Highlands, Texas, on October 14, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever cherish her.

Helen married the love of her life, Miguel Tobias, in Houston, Texas. Together, they built a family and raised four children: Michael, Michelle, Matthew, and Gregory. Her family was an important part of her life, and the love she shared with them will continue to live on through the generations.

Helen and Miguel were avid bowlers who shared a love for the sport, and Helen especially enjoyed bowling. She also had a deep love for music, enjoying the sounds of Motown, mariachi, and country. These simple joys brought happiness to her life and became part of the memories her loved ones will hold close to their hearts.

Helen will be remembered for the life she lived, the family she loved, and the memories she created with those around her. Though her passing leaves a great sadness, her love and the legacy she leaves behind will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Frank “Poncho” Guzman and Delores Guzman; and her two sons, Matthew Tobias and Gregory Tobias.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Miguel Tobias; her children, Michael Tobias and Michelle Tobias; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Though Helen may no longer be with us in person, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones. She will forever be loved, remembered, and missed.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003, on October 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Rosary will take place on October 28, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
