Helen Delores Walker

Helen was born in Houston Texas on August 14, 1953. She graduated from Jack Yates High School.

Helen was married to Preston Walker for 29 wonderful years. She worked at Pilgrim Cleaners for over 30 years. Helen was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Spring Texas. She had a passion for her family and movies.

She is survived by her husband Preston Walker, her children; son Willie Allen and daughter Christina Allen, grandchildren; Calaya Allen, Taevon Allen, Kaiden Miller, and brothers and sisters; Walter Allen, Jack Allen, Lee E Bayes, Shearn Allen, Eugene Allen, Henry Allen and Kenneth Allen.

A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. A reception will occur Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
