

Mrs. Helene Milonakos was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Helene will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Helene was born on January 3, 1935 in Sparta, Greece. She was the daughter of Konstantinos and Fotini Korinis. Helene grew up in Kalivia Sohas.
Helene was raised with five siblings. Panayiotis, Petros, Yanni, Maria, Canela.
On March 8, 1959, Helene exchanged wedding vows with Konstantinos George Milonakos at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto, Canada. Empathic and loyal, Helene was committed to making her new family happy.
Helene worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Helene was blessed with three children, one son, George Konstantinos Milonakos, two daughters, Christina K. Milonakos, Fotoula Milonakos McLin. Another blessing for Helene was the gift of her five Grandchildren - Natasha, Christopher, Nicholas, Alexander, Eleni and four Great-Grandchildren Jennifer, London, Jackson, and Faith.
Helene enjoyed being a homemaker, showing a strong work ethic. She worked a s a seamstress prior to being married, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Helene enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, knitting. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Helene’s faith was important as an active member of St. Basil The Great Greek Orthodox Church.
Helene passed away on February 1, 2022 at her home in Katy, TX surrounded by her family. Due to complications caused by Covid. Konstantinos, husband of 62 years,Children, Christina, George and Fotoula were at her side. Trisagion will be held at Chapel of Eternal Peace, 2454 S. Dairy Ashford on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 5PM-7:30PM, Funeral services will be held at St. Basil The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Eldridge Parkway on Wednesday, February 9,2022 at 11AM, with burial services following at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
Simply stated, Helene was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Helene leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Mrs. Helene Milonakos.
