He was there at the hospital the day that I was born. Would always see him wearing a cowboy hat. His words were always kind & straight-forward, and it felt like he spoke with intention, always pointing me in the right direction. Your service was beautiful.

Hi Rita, it's been a long time since I've seen you (maybe 35 years) and even longer since I saw Joe, so my memory of him is as a young man.  I always liked Joe, he was always a warm and approachable kind of guy. How sad that he was cut down in the prime of life but judging from the photo gallery, he had a rich, successful life filled with friends and loved ones.  May God comfort you, and us, in this time of grat loss.

To the Breaux family, 

I had the joy of working with Joe on the Girl Scout project.  I was so touched to see pictures from this project in the slide presentation.  He was a man of great integrity and honor.  We were blessed to welcome him into the Girl Scout family and work alongside him for the better part of a year (and learn a few things along the way).

There are no words for the void we feel without you in our lives.  You are missed so very much.  Rest in Peace.

It has been so long and losing touch with old friends is too easily done.  Then something like this brings us back in contact with one another.  I wish it weren't that way and we could all be as close as we once were.  I am very sorry to hear of Joe passing so young (57 is young to me).  I hope you are holding up ok and would like to see you again sometime, introduce you to my wife and catch up on life.

I will always have good memories of Joe and never will forget him.  My deepest sympathy goes out to the family.

To the Breaux family, I can not begin to express my sympathy for your loss.  I can share the void in my heart for a lost friend.  Joe worked for me as Superintendent on several projects here in Houston.  In fact he was leading construction on the first project I managed following the Exxon and Mobil merger.  He and I had our differences; however, I never left a conversation with Joe where we did not find more in common than different.  His passion for doing the right thing for the right reasons verified we had the right guy.  Joe will truly be missed and always respected by his friends and those who came in contact with him.  I am confident that god will take good care of Joe and ensure he stays in the hearts of all of us until we meet again.

Miss you so much already!  I just can't understand why I won't see you again with your hand on your hip, your lanyard and badges hanging from your neck and your hard hat under your arm.  Thanks for the encouraging words each time I saw your grinning face.  I reflect and believe you are one of the individuals that have had an impact in my life.  Headed to Spring Fling and you are not going to be there... "That Ain't Right"....
