I finished my work now I’m taking my rest. Don’t weep for me because the Lord knows best. If anyone should ask of my whereabouts tell them I am resting in my loving Father’s house.
Henry Ernest Washington was born on January 7, 1926 to Abraham Washington and Dessie Maud Washington in Trees City, Louisiana.
In 1949 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Delsie Love. They later moved to Houston, Texas in 1952. To this union there were five children born. He then became a member of Plasestine Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Callis. Thereafter, Henry united with the Wisdom House Church under the leadership of Pastor Ronald A. Thomas.
On Thursday, July 9, 2020 he was called home to be with God.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons; Wilford (Bobbie), Norman (Jeannie) and Austin (Barbara) and two daughters; Ernestine (Lucious) and Venerie (Ervin); 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
