With deep sorrow and everlasting love, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Herlinda Sanchez, who entered eternal rest on September 16, 2026, at the age of 70.
Herlinda was a woman of warmth, strength, and grace. Her caring spirit was a blessing to her family and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived a life filled with love, devotion, and kindness, always giving generously from her heart and offering comfort, encouragement, and joy to those around her.
As a devoted wife and mother, Herlinda’s love was constant and unconditional. Her family was the center of her life and her greatest source of pride and happiness. She was a source of guidance and strength, and the lessons she taught, the sacrifices she made, and the love she shared will continue to live on through the generations of her family.
Herlinda leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving husband, Simon Sanchez; her children, Selena Precella Torres, Gabriel Precella, and Ray Precella; her 13 beloved grandchildren; and her 9 cherished great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by her kindness and loving spirit.
Although our hearts are saddened by her passing, we are grateful for every precious moment shared with her. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, through the stories we share, and through the love she placed within each of our hearts.
Herlinda will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. Though she is no longer with us in body, her beautiful spirit will remain close to us always.
We find peace in knowing that she is resting in the loving arms of our Lord.

Visitation will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, on September 30, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location on September 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Committal Service will take place at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, on September 30, 2026, from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
