Herlon, I never got the honor of meeting you but I do remember little Ray talking highly of you all the time as did Jimmy. They both loved you and your whole family very much. I have no doubt you were a very special kind of man and you will be missed. I am sorry to Paula and Ray for their loss. I do pray God will give you strength and understanding during this difficult time and your memories will bring you comfort. God Bless you all!

Uncle Herlon,
You will always be in my heart. You were always fun to be around when our family came down to Texas from North Carolina to see everyone. I just wish I had been there for you as I got older, but that was not to be. I love you and will miss you. I just wanted to let you know (in Heaven), Thank You for not picking sides (only you will know my heart).
Love Always
Your Niece,
Brenda Hopson Hart

Daddy, one of the many memories and best I have with you is the "parkay" memory...I still laugh about it every time I think of it. Also you not letting go of my arm when you gave me away to Larry on my wedding day, I had to tell you to let go but just a few days ago I told you it's ok to let go again. It's painful but I'm glad you are at peace and with our many loved ones. I love you daddy..from your "gal", Paula Joy💔
