

HERMAN PRICE KINGSTON of Ashdown, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2014. Herman moved to Texas in the 1930’s and worked as a Millwright for 32 years. He was a man of Faith regularly attending Church on Sunday and singing with the Church Choir. He loved the outdoors, especially going fishing in San Leon. Herman was a very kind and warm hearted man. He would give you the shirt off his back or try to help anyway that he could. “Today I Started Loving You Again,” by Merle Haggard was one of his favorite songs and he enjoyed singing along.
Herman was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Kingston and step-son Ordell Opiela (Beaver).
He is survived by his sons Dennis Kingston & wife Nancy Kingston, and Vernon Kingston, step-sons Leo Opelia (Whitey), John Opiela (Sonny), grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel, 1015 Federal Road, Houston, Texas 77015.
Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
