Hernan Gamaliel Sosa Buezo, age 63 of Houston, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Hernan was born in Guatemala, Central America on August 25,1960 to Jorge Humberto Sosa and Maria Magdalena Buezo de Sosa.
Hernan is predeceased by both of his parents. Hernan is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gladys Sosa. Sons, Alex & Hernan Sosa of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Jonathon Sosa, Julianna Sosa, Elizabeth Sosa, Kevin and Alexis Alvarez. Hernan is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Jorge Sosa, Carlos Sosa, Juan Sosa, Rolando Sosa, Bonerges Sosa, Elsa Sosa, Ana Schraden, and Almy Prefontaine.
Hernan graduated from college in Chiquimula, Guatemala in December 1979. He moved to Houston in 1980 where he met Gladys and Married in 1983. He worked as a picture framer for about 15 years. He then went on to become a commercial truck driver. Hernan enjoyed family vacations, coaching his son's soccer games, building computers and listening to music.
Hernan was best known to his family as the man who would go out of his way to help family and friends. He will be remembered above all for his big heart.
