I am just hearing this news and saddened by the loss of a great man. Unfortunately,  I did not get to spend time with Henry and get to know him  as well as many others. I am sorry for your loss as a family and can only say when I think of Henry these words come to mind. Family, Gracious, Patient, Brilliant Creator and Teacher.

Hung my friend. I tried to call you but you were not there. I am shocked to find out that your not with us. We had so many good times at Erni, in Germany on business , working together in Winchester and our many phone calls. You always laughed and had the greatest smile. I will miss you my friend. 

I was introduced to Ho Thai Hung as Henry, and came to love him dearly as his English friend. I was a fortunate beyond words to have him in my life and to have felt his spirit. I also grew up in a small village, shared a passion for audio - especially his beloved Apogees which we both worked to save from extinction - and music of all kinds. He opened a world to me of community, family and friendship beyond anything I had experienced, and shared his gifts and kindness freely every day that I knew him. 
The world is a dimmer place with his passing, but the light he generated through his works and his kind gentle nature also makes it a brighter more tranquil place for those of us who remain to remember and honor him.
As you can see from the photo I included here, Hung and I usually took more pictures of,  and spent more time on our knees caring for and adjusting the Apogees we both loved  and enjoyed together.  This became more important when they began to be discarded and destroyed as too expensive to fix: so we both rescued what we could - and it was a labor of love that united us in common endeavour, and also cemented our friendship.
I thank God for the privilege of having had Henry as my Friend. I am saddest to not having been at his side as our Friendship deserved, but that is overwhelmed by many cherished moments shared.
I write this in Loving Memory, and in Gratitude to Mylien, Victoria and Aliya for sharing him his time on Earth with me.

Dear Mai Linh and family, I want to send our deepest condolences for the loss of Hung. Hung was a generous neighbor with a good heart and I enjoyed getting to know him and the conversations we had. Please let us know if there is anything you need, we are just next door.  We will always remember him and God bless you all.

Hung was an incredibly nice and selfless person. Always great to work with and the best to have conversations with during the day. I will miss his happy demeanor, helpful attitude, and those trips to go eat Pho for lunch. Thank you Hung for always being a great friend! I would like to offer Hung’s family my deepest and most sincere condolences and may Hung rest in peace. We miss you dearly Hung.

Hung is a talented audio designer and well admired in the audio world for the design of the H2O amplifier.  A friend of him suggested me to call him asking about the amplifier. The intended short phone last nearly an hour and we became close friends. 

We both love the oldies and are the proud owners of the ugly duckling “Apogee speakers” which normally has a WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) of 1 over 10 scale. Hung told me it is not the physical aspect but we own a piece of American audio history and I agreed. 
I once asked him the secret of getting away with having many pairs of the low WAF speakers. He smiled and joyfully told me that he has a very loving family and understanding wife 😊. I am sure his family knows that.

Hung is a generous friend. During the search for my pair of the Apogee speaker he offered his help for two days driving trip to bring the speakers back to Austin with me.  I did not take the offer but knew that he took many many long trips to take his speakers home. That’s love and dedication to the music! 

Hung is very humble man. Audiophiles know it is a big achievement to design an amplifier that is as good or better than many well established and expensive brands with large resources. He did it by himself and never exaggerate about its performance. 

Hung, I treasure  and am thankful for our friendships. The music listening sessions with you were always delightful and think about it bring back good memories. 
You will be missed dearly!


Hung, you will be greatly missed! I am so grateful to have taken the time to get to know you and listen to your stories about life! Always beaming with joy when speaking about your wife and daughters and their accomplishments. We were all so blessed with your friendship on this earth! Thank you for the memories and all the wisdom gained! 
You were always laughing, joking and telling me not to take things/life too seriously! Or making fun of me for trying to pronounce words in Vietnamese. 
We have all lost an amazing person and friend.

My deepest condolences to the family. Hung was a great man with very good qualities. He was a very smart, grateful, and humble man. Not only that but also a great coworker and a dear friend. Hung was a great family man. I was very fortunate to have know him for about 9 yrs. He always had a great attitude and was always willing to help on everything he could. It's tough for me to walk near Hung's cubicle and know that I won't be able to see him and joke around with him anymore. He was a big lost not only as an asset for the company, but also as a great friend. The world has lost a great man, again my deepest condolences to all his family.

I will always remember Hung as a helpful and a friendly co-worker. 
He was dedicated to his job and loved what he did for our company.
One time, he showed me a picture of his family and he was beaming with joy in his face. From there, I know he was a loving family man.
