In Loving Memory of Nguyen Van Hoc

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished husband and father, Nguyen Van Hoc, at the age of 60. He peacefully departed on July 28th, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife, children, and dear family members, at Memorial Hermann Cancer Center - Memorial City, TX, after a brief illness. Born on January 1st, 1963, in Saigon, Vietnam, to his late father Nguyen Van Ru and mother Nguyen Thi Ru, Nguyen was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Pham Thi Tuyet Hang, for over 35 years. He was also a dedicated father to his adoring children: Nguyen Tuyet Hanh, his daughter, and Nguyen Minh Hoang, his son.

Raised as the tenth child among numerous siblings, Nguyen embarked on his educational journey in Vietnam, graduating from a Math teaching college. He then embraced a new chapter in his life, immigrating with his family to the United States on February 20th, 2013. Overcoming challenges, he tirelessly worked to provide for his family and adapt to life in Houston, TX. Nguyen's determination led him to a decade-long tenure as an electronics specialist and warehouse leader at HTH Communications Company, from 2013 to 2023.

Nguyen leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. Although he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in the knowledge that he has found peace in the company of his late father and older brother, Nguyen Van Nam.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate ICU staff at Memorial Hermann Cancer Center - Memorial City, TX, for their unwavering care during Nguyen's final moments.

Visitation for Nguyen Van Hoc will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday, August 11, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, at Christ The Incarnate Word Catholic Church, 8503 S Kirkwood Rd, Houston, TX 77072.

The committal service is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077.
