Horace Clay Lloyd. Age 88, passed from this earthly life on June 17, 2014 in Boerne, TX. He was born May 6, 1926 in Jackson, TN to Clarence Teddy Lloyd, Sr. and Ruby Reavis Lloyd. Clay is survived by his only sister, Patsy McLucas and preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Clarence Teddy Jr. and Emory Neill. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1944 and was a World War II POW and Bronze Star recipient. He married the love of his life, Edna Faye Kelley, on February 7, 1947. Together they had 3 wonderful children. Clay was a lifelong member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #54. He loved the outdoors and spent his leisure time hunting, fishing and camping with family. Horace Clay is survived by his son Michael Wayne and wife Betty Rae Lloyd, daughter Laurie Denise and husband S. Lee Stevenson and daughter Alaina Kellene (Kelly) Sommer. He leaves behind a loving legacy to 8 grandkids and 17 great grandkids that he truly adored. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
