Horace Roy Sr.

Pete understood the importance of hard work. He relocated from Louisiana to Houston at a young age and was a dedicated employee of Hydril Company for more than 35 years. After Hydril, he worked as a Security Officer until he fully retired.

Pete was united in marriage to the late Barbasor Roy, and to this union six sons and two daughters were born. He was a loving Father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother to his sisters. He was always there for his family.

Pete was called to be with the Lord in the early morning of June 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving children. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons, Horace, Terry and Peter.

Pete leaves to cherish his memory, four sons, Ronald, John, Raynord Roy, and Michael Jones; two daughters, Michelle and Delotrice Roy; two granddaughters, Janea and Linda Roy, three great grandchildren, Allen, Aiden and McKayla; three sisters, Mary Ruth Zenon of Breaux Bridge, LA., Edwina LeBlanc of Houston, Texas and Mary Linda Borel (Marman) of Breaux Bridge, La., and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
