

Hoyt was born January 8, 1927 to Carthal and Bessie Anderson in Ada, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons: Hoyt Kenneth Anderson, Jr. and David Lee Anderson. Hoyt leaves behind his wife, Reba Anderson; daughter, Ruth Ellen Ransom and husband John; son, Donald Ray Anderson; step-daughters: Rhonda Manuel Saldivar and husband Alfonso, Sherri Manuel and husband Michael Brunet. Also he leaves his sisters: Charlsie Butler, Ruth Hewitt and husband Roy; step-brother, John McGrath and wife Kathy; grandchildren: John M. Ransom, Dane Ransom, Kevin Anderson, Carthal Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Ben Anderson, Brandon Brunet, Christian Brunet, Scott Saldivar, Michelle Renk Bundy and husband Britten; great grandchildren: Aiden Bundy and Liam Bundy. Hoyt was very proud of his children and grandchildren and always encouraged them to pursue their education.
Hoyt attended Eureka, Kansas High School and Oklahoma University and then began his career in the Oil Industry. He was Plant Manager of Yale Machine, J.M. Huber Corp. when he retired. After retiring he started Andy's Hardware in North Houston in 1978 and the store in now owned by his son, Donald Anderson.
Andy was very proud to become a 32* mason at the age of 22 and acheived a lifetime membership in the Topeka, Kansas Blue Lodge for work he did at a local orphanage.
