1939-2018
“Ken” Barrett, Age 78, passed away peacefully in the early morning of March 9, 2018 in Cypress Texas following a lengthy illness.
Ken enjoyed his career in the Houston Banking Industry for over 25 years. His desire for entrepreneurship propelled his business successes through out his “retirement” years. Ken also served as a Reserve Deputy for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice. His grandsons, Jordan Kenneth Barrett and Brandon Alexander Barrett. He also leaves his fur babies “Angel” and “Princess” for whom he adored. Along with numerous other family members and friends.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Hullen Freeman Barrett and Florence Elsie Barrett, his daughter, Karen Renee Barrett, and his son, Stephen Kenneth Barrett.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday 3/12 from 5-8 p.m. or services on Tuesday 3/13 at 11 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home-Champions located at 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway(FM 1960 & Walters) in Houston TX. Interment to follow at Forest Park-The Woodlands located at 18000 I-45 S, The Woodlands Texas.
