He is survived by his beloved wife Astrea, mother, two sisters and two brothers, eight nieces and two nephews, and many other family members and friends who will forever treasure his memory. Humberto was a loving son, devoted husband, a selfless brother, playful uncle, and wonderful friend. He carried his heritage with pride throughout his life and touched the hearts of many with his warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit.
A talented and passionate chef, Humberto dedicated his life to his craft. He was a chef at many renowned restaurants in Houston, Texas. His love for cooking led him to travel around the world, where he explored new cultures, expanded his knowledge, and learned diverse recipes and techniques that helped shape his remarkable career. Beyond his passion for food, he had a special place in his heart for animals and was known for caring for stray cats, showing them the same compassion and kindness he shared with those around him.
He was a generous, loving, and thoughtful man who never hesitated to help others. Though he is no longer with us, his love, determination, and hard work will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
