

He met and married the love of his life, Maria Yepez, in Medellin, Colombia. He came to the United States of America to better the life of his family. He came to the United States alone and once he could, he requested his siblings - so they too could have a better life. Humberto was a very humble man, he lived a very simple life. He was very loving, nurturing, and giving and never spoke ill of anyone. Humberto worked hard throughout his life and was proud of what he earned. He was also family oriented; his family was the passion in his life. Humberto’s life revolved around his wife, daughter, grandchildren and immediate family. He enjoyed to watch futbol/soccer games, his favorite games were Mexico vs. Colombia. During his illness, his wife, Maria devoted her life to taking care of him, she stayed near his side at all times.
Humberto leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Maria Antonia Vallejo, his daughter Maddie E. Brown and husband Harry, his God-daughter who he considered his adopted daughter, Viviana Molnar and husband Mark, his God-son who he considered a son, Otto Arizabaleta, Jr., grandchildren; Dyanna Vallejo-Meza, John Deniston, Valeri Brown, Amanda Molnar, Alex Molnar, great granddaughter Gisella Meza, siblings; Aura Hoyos and husband Hernan, Teresa Jimenez and husband Fabio, Ayde Vallejo and husband Libardo Agudelo and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00am to St. Matthews Catholic Church, 9915 Hollister Street, Houston, Texas 77040.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
