On September 1, 2026, Anna Huong Nguyen, age 83, was peacefully called home to the Lord.
Strengthened by the Sacraments and sustained throughout her life by her Catholic faith, Anna lived with a deep love for God and devotion to her family. She was a faithful parishioner of Christ the Incarnate Word Catholic Church and proudly served as a member of the Catholic Mothers’ Society.
Anna leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, and family. Her devotion as a mother and grandmother, her kindness toward others, and her steadfast prayers will continue to live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and to love her.
May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord.
She is survived by her children; Hoang Nguyen, Phong Nguyen & spouse Jen-Regala Nguyen, Morgan Luja & spouse Eugen Luja, Cindy Nguyen, and My Nguyen & spouse Luan Tran; her grandchildren; Tyler Dang, Joseph Nguyen, Jordan Nguyen, Brittany Phan, Bailey Phan, Chloe Luja, Dylan Le, Lucas Tran, and Micah Tran; and her siblings; Hieu Nguyen & the late Peter Ha Nguyen, Kieu Tran & Le Tran, Thieu Tran & Lai Tran, and the late Cuu Tran & Marianna Tran.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, TRUNG NGUYEN, in 2014.
Funeral services will begin at Garden Oaks Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Visitation on this day will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a traditional mourning ceremony from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and will conclude with prayers by the Catholic Mothers’ Organization from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will continue at Garden Oaks Funeral Home on Friday, September 18, 2026. Visitation on this day will run from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will conclude on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Christ the Incarnate Word Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her, May her soul and all the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
