
Ida Marchan Galvan, 76 was born in Port Isabel Texas on January 7, 1937 to Daniel and Emilia Marchan. Ida passed away peacefully in her daughter's home in Sealy, Texas on Saturday morning, May 11, 2013.
Ida was the loving wife of Antonio Galvan for 51 years. She and "Tony" had 3 children, Ronnie, Jimmy and Judi and raised their kids in Galena Park, Texas. Ida was a very devoted stay at home Mom and was dedicated to her family. She was their rock and taught all of her children to pray and to have faith. She had the most giving nature and gave each of her grandchildren monthly allowances until her last days. Ida loved her dog Bridget who she often referred to as "Naughty" who was her constant companion.
She is survived by her husband Antonio Galvan and her sons and wives, Ronnie and Sheila Gonzales of Kingwood and Jimmy and Shonda Galvan of Jasper, and her Daughter and husband Judi Burttschell and Chad Hugo. Her grandchildren are: Brittany Carter, Michael Gonzales, Paul Gonzales, Megan Gonzales, Robert Gonzales, Victor Gonzales, Boo Burttschell, Holly Galvan, Hally Galvan and Dante Galvan, and great grandchild Case Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ida's little sister Celia Marchan Bulerez was with her during the last few weeks of her life, laying with her through the nights, and praying with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Emilia Marchan, her brothers and sister Daniel Marchan Jr., Mary Rock, Frank Marchan, Joe Marchan and Ted Marchan and her son in law Michael Joe Burttschell.
