Iesha girl I’m so sorry to hear about this, all the crazy times we had back in highschool in our health class you had me laughing like no other everyday. You are going to be missed so much. May you Rest In Peace pretty mama! 

Hi baby , hope you’re doing ok  wherever you are know that you were loved by me and Naomi beyond your understanding, when I first met you on may 17th at around 2/4pm I couldn’t take my eyes off your amazingly gorgeously beautiful face , I actually said , Goddamn she’s so beautiful never in a my crazy mind , did I ever think that such a beautiful women would talk to me , but you ..you were the one God sent for me , so you did speak to me , a few nights after you told me that I text slow so ( you being you) lol always telling people how you really felt . Anyway little did you know that by saying that it sparked the light it me that showed me that you liked me , we hangout  got some tacos and it was all pure love from then on, you moved in with me and stoop by me no matter what circumstances I was going thru at the time . All your auctions just proved to me continually  that you loved me so much , I remember how you would be upset at people that did something to upset me , I remember how you always wanted & where ready to fight for my sisters & how much you loved all my family . Know that they all loved & are here for you , know that everyone showed up to your birthday, know that your dad , your siblings , Veronica, sterling, Ms.Parker , sultan , shavel , Ava , your cousins from Louisiana , your uncle Terry are all here for you , know that Anthony came and he was living his best life at the house , he spent a lot of time with Naomi and we all prayed for you , we visited you, & we all just you to be happy whenever you are . Know that I got our daughter taken care of forever and ever, know that she’ll always know who you where and she will grow up to be a strong black women just like her mom, she’ll get the best education , the best treatment and I will make sure that she never feels your absence cause I know that you’re with us in spirit . Wherever you are know that I will keep cheering for you! I love you forever and always !Your Husband  you already know what going on

Iesha and I shared a lot of memories over the years, and for me, one of Iesha’s most memorable characteristics was her ability to show up. When I say show up, I mean if you were upset, she’d be upset with you. If you were happy, she’d be happy with you. If you’re unsure about something, she’d try to help you figure it out. That’s just who she was. 

     When we both revealed our pregnancies to each other we just laughed because we were so big and close to our due dates.  Three things we were going to do when we were pregnant: EAT, nap, and shop for some baby clothes and decor lol. 

    I wish God gave us more time to spend together.  I’m truly going to miss her and her vibrant personality.

When I first met Iesha. She interviewed with me for a medical assistant position. I immediately saw how smart, driven , and passionate she was. She was the perfect fit and she exceled in what she did. She was also a great friend to all of her coworkers. She always spoke about Leo and her Naomi with such love and passion. She is a part of us for ever. 

Iesha vela, my fake mom, I miss you so much. I remember the first day I saw you, and we were so happy.
And after a few months I came to live with you, and I spent most of my time in the room because I was ashamed to speak English, but time passed and I got used to you, and we watched and played with leo and Naomi. I can't explain what I'm feeling.
The last few weeks we were really close, we hung out when you got off work and it was a lot of fun.
On Friday you were so happy and you went to my room and we were playing, talking and listening to music that was good, your happiness was contagious, we loved your way of being. On Saturday you gave me a hug but I didn't know it would be the last one, and you said that you loved us. The good memories I have of you will always dry my tears and make me smile, you will always be in our hearts, rest in peace I love you

In life we only meet a handful of people who have impact on who we are. Ciara showed me how to be a free-spirit and that this world doesn’t always have to be so serious. When our paths did cross,  we were instantly inseparable and it felt like we were friends in a previous lifetime. My best friend, supporter, sister, secret-keeper, ace and truly one of the liveliest spirits I will ever know, all in one. To have known her, was to love her. Always in our minds and forever in our hearts, may her beautiful soul rest peacefully. Fly high.

Honestly, I'm still in disbelief. You still had so much more to live for but I'm happy we got to see your happiest experience, which was becoming Naomi's mommy. Iesha Vela, best sister in law I have ever had, you also became my big sister, you were always there for me but sometimes I just didn’t see that. I can’t explain what am feeling, but am sure that I love you so much and I’ll always love you. I never really told you how and what I felt when I was around you, but it was all about happiness. You were a wonderful person, that never wanted to see anyone that you love get hurt, or feeling sad. I remember telling you every time that we were together that you were always looking nice and that I loved your hair, I wasn’t lying, you were a beautiful woman, inside and outside. Last time we spent time together, we were playing Mortal Combat with Marlon, Fofa and Leo  and because I was always winning you didn’t want to leave because you wanted to win first. I called you guys losers, so you had to show me that you are Iesha Vela and you wanted to win at least 1 game and boom you won, and I was so happy, we had so much fun. I remember the first time you made breakfast for me, Eri told you that you never did it for her but you did it for me, and we laughed a lot and I told Eri that you loved me more, I have a lot of memories, that I wish I could make a movie. I can’t explain what am feeling, but I have to thank you for being a wonderful sister, thank for always making sure we were happy and for making me laugh all the time we were together, and also for allowing me to be there for you when you were sad. I love you so much and I’ll always do, you will never be forgotten, you will always be in my heart and my thoughts. Thank you for teaching me a lot, thank you for the conversation, for the happy moments and for saying goodbye even though I didn’t know, I love you. 

I love you so much bestfriend. A piece of my heart will always be with you. You never failed to make me laugh or smile even on my worst days. Thank you for all the memories & laughs we had together. I’m glad I got to speak to you one last time & there was that big smile on your face. Heaven gained a beautiful angel who will forever be mourned by me. I will never stop letting your daughter know how much you loved her and how much of a good mother you are. Nothing can separate us we will always be best friends in any lifetime no matter what <3
