I just wanted to express my condolences to "Miss Jean's" family.  I enjoyed knowing her these last 15 months at The Solana.  My name is Kathy and my therapy dog is Rusty. I want you to know that Jean never missed a Tuesday when the dogs came to visit. She always had her Pupperoni Treats wrapped in Kleenex stuffed into her pants pockets.  The dogs wouldn't leave her alone until every bite was gone.  I had missed her the last few weeks after her fall.  I was told she was in rehab but last Thursday as Rusty and I were making our rounds at Katy Memorial Hermann I just happened to see her name by the door.  We went in and I put Rusty on the bed beside her.  She said she was sorry she didn't have a treat for him.  I gave her one that I had brought.  She gave it to him and he gave her a little kiss on her cheek.  We told her good bye and she thanked me for bringing Rusty. We will miss her very much and I'm so happy we were able to meet her.
