

Mr. In Tae Ha was born on June 26, 1931 in Chang-Nyung, a small farming town in Kyung-Nam Province, South Korea.
He graduated from the Law School at Pusan University during the time of the Korean War. He married Tae Sun Suh in January 1959 and eventually moved to a city of Tae-Gu where he taught English in a middle school and then worked for the US Government. His wife operated her own pharmacy in Tae-Gu.
He immigrated to the USA with his family and settled in Houston in 1978. His three sons were at ages 18, 16 and 15 years at the time. He worked for the FMC in Houston until he got a real estate license and founded the HIT Realty and Investment. He served as a Principal and then Chairman of the Board of the Korean School in Houston. He also served as a member, Advisory Council on Democratic and Peaceful Unification of Korea. He was awarded the Civil Merit Medal by the President of Korea in 1985.
He has been a member of the St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church of Houston since its foundation in 1978. He loved watching his grandchildren grow and always smiled at them. He enjoyed playing golf and loved watching soccer games. He is survived by his wife, a brother (In Soo Ha) and two sisters (Ok Sook Ha and Kyung Sook Ha), three sons and their spouses (Drs. Chul Soo and Regina Ha, Drs. Kang Soo and Jiyoung Ha, and Young Soo Ha) and five grandchildren (Peter Joohyung Ha, Angela Jiyoon Ha, Perry Joohyup Ha, Jeremy Juwan Ha, and Chloe Yurie Ha).
A prayer service for IN TAE will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church, 1706 Bingle Road, Houston, TX 77055.
