Ina Mae Ferguson passed on Monday May 7th 2012 of natural causes. Ina was born to Lola Williams Gee and William Gee on November 10th 1916 in Rockdale, Texas. The Gees were one of the original settlers in Texas which aquired a land grant from the Mexican Government and set down roots in Milam County before Texas was a Republic. Ina was married to her High School sweetheart William Ferguson on October 2nd, 1935 in Rockdale. She was married to her best friend for over 50 years until his passing in 1989. Ina is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Gloria Jean and Richard Petty, Paula Jo and Steve Hill, and Debbie and Jack McDonald and her five cherished Grandchildren, Gaye Hennessy, Chad & Mike McMahon and Amie and Melanie Flock. She also has 3 Great‐Grandchildren Lauren, Megan and Morgan.
Ina Mae was a home maker, loving devoted wife and wonderful mother who always put family first. She is truly loved and will surely be missed. Rest in Peace. We love you mom.
