Ines Reyes Garcia, a cherished and inspirational presence, passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on March 15, 1963, Ines was a resident of Houston, Texas, where she lived a life full of adventure and hard work. Her thoughtful and selfless nature touched the lives of many, and her resilience was admired by all who knew her.
Ines was a loving mother to her children, Eric Reyes Garcia, Junior Emilio Garcia, Karina Gallardo, and Yesenia Gallardo. She was predeceased by her mother, Lucina Bravo Reyes. Ines was not only a devoted family member but also a beloved friend and sister. Her Catholic faith was an integral part of her life, and she found joy in nature and animals.
In her free time, Ines enjoyed gardening, taking walks at the park, going to the beach, and cooking. These activities brought her peace and allowed her to share her love for nature with those around her.
Services to honor Ines's memory will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A visitation will take place on July 14, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary and Prayer Vigil from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Rd, Houston, TX 77084, on July 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Following the service, a committal service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm. Her family requests that guests wear white for her services.
Ines's legacy as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her adventurous spirit and selfless contributions to her family and community will be deeply missed.
