At the age of 3, Inge traveled back to Germany with her parents and later lived in England. She spent WWII in Berlin and in 1947 chose to return to the US to start a new life. Through gracious perseverance, strength and love, Inge became a woman whose example taught us to continue the journey of life and pave the path with love and forgiveness.
After raising her children, Inge went to work for the Revlon (Military Division) in San Antonio where her skills and dedication earned her the honor of being the Top Beauty Consultant in the nation.
She had a love for culture and travel, meeting interesting people and was passionate for Opera. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and took great joy in family gatherings. Hers was a heart that flourished for those she loved and she could rarely be alone, because she had so much love to share. Her journey here on earth has ended, but her path continues.
The family is forever grateful to the many caregivers who gave their care, kindness, and loving support.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 18th of June 2016, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. In celebration of her life, an English Afternoon Tea reception will immediately follow the service.
