IRENE CEGIELSKI BOURGEOIS, 78, of Katy TX, a victim of a hit and run driver, passed away February 2, 2012. Through this tragedy Irene has touched so many hearts filled with love and compassion, and has certainly let the world know she was here. Irene grew up in Houston and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy. She is preceded in death by parents Max Cegielski and Julia Bilski Cegielski, daughter Andrea Bragg, and sister, Bebiann Wright. She is survived by son Jason Bourgeois and daughter Vanessa Bourgeois; sisters, Dorothy Painter and spouse Hugh, Cynthia Longmuir; brothers, Max and spouse Margo and Raymond Cegielski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 9 at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 1530 Norwalk Dr., Katy TX. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
