Irene Czachorowski

After graduating as valedictorian from Bayonne Evening High School and treasurer of the senior class, Irene began her career at Maidenform as an operator. She started as a mail clerk and order picker at the Tabulating Department and from that position she was promoted to key punch operator.

Irene married John Czachorowski in 1958, and together they shared 42 beautiful years. John was the love of her life and she looked forward to joining him again in the afterlife. Irene was witty, talkative and always enjoyed a good conversation. She was stylish, smart and loved being the center of attention. She was a very crafty person and enjoyed crocheting, painting and baking. Irene was an active member of The Prince of Peace Church for over 50 years and loved doing volunteer work. She also had a fun and adventurous side playing at the Casinos. She loved to win, therefore was considered lucky. She was so easy to love and will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her children, James and Susan; Grandchildren, Anthony, Jessica and Lance; Great Grandchildren, Felix and Liliana; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on January 14, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.
