It didn’t feel real at first, the pain of having to go through your loss was too much to handle and is still hard to understand. I had so many great memories with you from going over to visit and talk about what’s been going on In my life, either with school, cheer, or anything in general. I loved going over because I knew that you always had something to cook for us and you always had the best meals that made us feel at home. Your potato salad and the special made burritos I always requested were my favorite because you knew how to make it the way I liked them. I also remember you always being there when I wanted you to sew any of my clothes that didn’t fit me and I was always happy with the finished product because you never failed to show your talent. I am now taking a sewing class in school so that I can learn just like you and it’s been fun so far. The thing that always stuck with me is when I was leaving your apartment to go back home and we were all telling you and grandpa bye and I gave you a kiss on your forehead and you said said that only me and Adrian were the ones that did that and it made you feel loved, so I never stopped. I can recall so many memories I had with you grandma but the list would never stop, I hoped you knew how much of an impact you had on each and every single one of our lives and it never went unnoticed. I’m always thinking about you and I love you so much.  

You have been a huge blessing to many people that have crossed your path. Faith made me cross your path in order to find another set of parents I didn't know I needed. You and Manuel have been there for me for over 4 years, through the bad times and good. Always there to lift me up when I felt it was impossible to get up, and always pushing me to be the best person I can be. I love you and Manuel like you're my own parents, that unconditional love! These 4+years have been the best times I've had in my life, everyday I would come by or call just to hear your voice and make you laugh at my stupid jokes. Wherever you were I wasn't too far behind and vice versa. You were my happiness for a long time, you are the true meaning of a mom and a best friend. My life, and I'm sure a lot of other's lives will not be the same without you. I miss you so much, my heart hurts and feels so empty and lost without you. But, don't worry I will find you again one day when God says it's time. Just know you are truly truly missed by so many so many that adore you.  For a while I was in denial that you were gone, it couldn't be my best friend! But I know now that you're in God's hands and he's taking good care of you and you're not in any pain. Please watch over me and everyone that is hurt by this loss. I love you more than words can ever say and I'm glad we got to say "see you later" in our own way. Thank you for all the love and time we shared, I will see you later. I love you! 

I wouldn't even know where to begin for the memories I have of Gloria. They go back to when I was kid hanging out with the girls to becoming her daughter in law. But I will always remember the love she had for everyone the hugs she always made sure she got when you got to house her or she went to yours. She was so full of life always the light of the party. She's a mother alot of people wish they had because she loved her kids unconditionally and she didn't care who was mad at each other she always found away to bring everyone back together. She was always a phone call away. She was the grandma who loved her grandkids and loved that each one of them always went to her when they couldn't talk to their mom or dad. She was beautiful inside and out. Gloria loved her family and friends, she didn't care who you were if you were hungry or need a couch to lay on for the night she always opened her doors for you. Gloria was an angle on earth and even tho we weren't ready to let her go God had greater plan for her in heaven. She can now be with her daughter and her mother waiting for each of us with open arms when our time comes. 

We will forever love you and you will never be forgotten in our heart you now live. May you find your spot amongst the angel.

 Gloria was like a second mom to me who always look out for me and always was there for me always welcomed me to her home we will talk laugh and together we had so many great memories I will never ever forget she's the sweetest kindest person ever ever since I was young leaving in Oak Street she would always make me smile when I was sad, happy when I was down, she was always the person I can talk to I'm so missing her and I love her so much....

My favorite memory of grandma is when I was in 5th grade i hit my head on the swing pole and I had a mini concussion and I needed to go home so my grandma walked from the apartments on Curtain St to Durham elementary to pick me up and we walked back together. She made me a soupa that day and told me to stay awake cause I couldn’t go to sleep but there so many times grandma made sure I was okay before she was and that’s why we all loved her :) love you grandma miss you and I know your looking over all of us 😥
