Irma was such a sweet person and was always willing to help when she could. She and I worked together at Cypress-wood Elementary school and it was a joy. I remember our last visit right before school ended in May, I needed someone to come to my Bilingual class and read to my student a book in Spanish. She told me " Ms. Anderson I have one other project to finish and I will stop back by and read them the book" and she did. She was a women of her word and she will be missed. Each evening by me being a substitute teacher I would leave at 3:25 and some times I would sit and idle my car before taking off and I would look up and see Irma , holding her granddaughter's hand headed to her car to go home.
Just sweet memories of this dear lady. God bless each of you and my prayers will be may you find peace during this difficult time.

So many memories with tia Irma that will forever be with me but one of many , it was a party at her house and for everyone knows me , I always ask if Tia is making her potato salad! And of course she was .. but we came late as usual, and the potato salad was gone ! .. I was like aww man ! There’s no more ! .. but Tia said there’s another tray in the refrigerator.. so when we were heading out home she called me in , and handed me a Tupperware, and said I saved this one Incase you didn’t get some tonight😊
Tia Irma you are forever going to be in our hearts we love you and forever going to miss you !!!!!!!!!!
