Isidra Tenorio Hernandez, age 91, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Isidra was born May 15, 1930. Isidra is preceded in death by her loving husband Castulo Hernandez and her sons Raul Hernandez, Narciso Hernandez and Roberto Hernandez. She is survived by her daughters Mary F. Zuniga (Felipe Zuniga), Jovita Alcocer (Victor Alcocer), Janie Campos, Olivia Contreras (David Contreras), Maria E. Garcia (Manuel Garcia), Son, Antonio Hernandez (Linda Hernandez), daughters, Maria De La Luz Guzman (Mario Guzman) and Dolores Villarreal (Eddie Villarreal). 27 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to a memorial bench that will be placed on the grounds at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Isidra's memory and also donations will be given to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church as well. A rosary service will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A visitation will occur Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will occur Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
