ISIDRO G. CONTRERAS ,83, passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Isidro is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Contreras; and his brothers Robert and Bennie Contreras. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Mary Contreras; daughter Michele D. Tanner; and son Michael David Contreras; and grandchildren Brandon C. Tanner, Catalina Amelia Contreras, and Diana Isabella Contreras. He is also survived by 1 brother, David Contreras and wife Helen; and 3 sisters, Rachel Mendoza, Dolores Pena, and Josephine Chavez. Visitation for Isidro will be Thursday July 18, 2013 at the funeral home from 5-8pm with a rosary at 7pm. A funeral will be held on Friday July 19, 2013 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (2131 Lauder Rd, Houston, TX 77039) at 10:00am followed by interment at the Houston National Cemetery at 11:30am.
