Israel Valdez, 80, peacefully passed away on Thursday March 8, 2018 with his loving wife of 52 years and family by his side. Israel was born in Karnes City, Texas on February 16, 1938 to Simon and Delores Valdez. He served his country in the United States Air Force and United States Army.
Israel married Mary Godines on July 30, 1966 and survived by his sons, Franklin R. Valdez, Jeffrey M. Valdez, Gerald K. Valdez; daughter Melissa C. Valdez; grandchildren Selena M. Valdez, Sierra M. Valdez, Sebastian R. Valdez, Laura A. Valdez, Jasmine Valle and Vanessa V. Valle and great-grand daughter Isabella M. Guerra. He had a passion for baseball; retired little league board member and #1 ASTROS fan!
