Jackie Ruth Miller; beloved wife, cherished mother and grandmother, treasured sister and aunt, passed away peacefully May 7th, 2021. Jackie was born in Mercury, TX on March 3rd, 1934. She was married to Thomas Ripkowski for 49 years.
Jackie was a dedicated homemaker who loved to spend time with her daughter, grand and
great-grandchildren. She was a fantastic baker and was known for her famous pecan pie and Christmas time treats, especially the divinity. Gardening made her happy, she had quite the greenthumb. She often gave out cuttings of her many plants to friends and family. Sewing was one of her favorite pastimes and she was very skilled at dressmaking and quilting. She made many of her daughter and granddaughter's outfits and special occasion dresses. All the children in the family have special blankets from their Nanny.
She loved attending Gospel Assembly Church and spending time socializing with her many church friends.She was a devoted sister who treasured all of her siblings and loved spending time chatting with them and catching up on all the family comings and goings. She had special relationships with her nieces and valued the time they spent together.
Shopping trips and eating out were a special treat she enjoyed sharing with her granddaughter and nieces.
She took loving care of her daughter, each of her grandchildren and their children. She touched many lives and was known for her kind heart and sweet spirit. She genuinely cared for all the people she met. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.
She is survived by her Sisters Jimmie Lou Page and Geri Stripling, her daughter Catherine Ripkowski and her grandchildren Annie Gonzales, Josh Gonzales, Jimmy Brown and Alaina Brown, and her great grandchildren Sasha Gonzales, Sebastian Brown; Annie's children, Jaimar Brown, Niah Brown, Kash Brown and Kai Brown; Jimmy's children.
