Jackson Authur Daniels Jr.

Jackson was born on April 22, 1943, and attended Kashmere High School and Texas Southern University.

He was a United States Army veteran who retired as a civil servant with the City of Houston.

The Mayor of the City of Houston proclaimed June 1, 2006 as “Jackson Daniels Day”.

Jackson “Jackie” Daniels, Jr. enjoyed spending time with his friends, fishing, and watching Houston sports teams.

Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Jackson and Bessie Daniels and his two brothers Milton and AJ.

Jackson is survived by his wife Theresa Daniels, their five children Jackson II, Michael, Mark, Theresa, Jaclyn, daughters-in-law Veronica, Janet, Lindsey and eight grandchildren Jozselin, Cameron, Christopher, Mark Jr., Chanel, Michael Jr., Tyson, and Brayden.

Visitation for Mr. Daniels will occur on
