Jacqueline was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on January 15, 1947. She was the eldest child born to the union of the late Lowell Landry, Sr. and Madeline Myles Landry. She graduated from McKinley Senior High School in 1965 and worked as a food service technician for 19 years with Orleans Parish School Board. She was married to her husband Curtis Berry for over 40 years.
Jacqueline was survived by her two children Calvin Landry, Sr. (Jenny Landry) and Schavonne Berry. Her grandchildren, Calvin Landry, Jr. (Crystal Landry), Oscar Landry and Laila Landry. Her great grandchildren, Calvin Landry, III, Caleb Landry, Elisha Landry and Jewliyah Landry. Her brother Lowell Landry, Jr. (Madine Landry) and sister Wanda Greenup (Alfred Greenup). Her nieces LaGretta Landry and Alyssa Greenup and nephew Lowell Landry, III and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.
Jacqueline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed shopping, movies, dining out and traveling. She was a faithful member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church and attended for over 15 years. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A funeral service will occur Friday, May 3, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, May 3, 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
