Jack was born May 25, 1953 as a fraternal twin with Charlie. Jack and his family were lifelong members of Saint Rose Catholic Church. He attended Saint Rose Catholic School during his childhood and later graduated from Waltrip High School in 1973.
Jack worked at Delmar Bowling Lanes Grill with his father and later worked for Kroger grocery chain for over 20 years, and retired from Kroger in 2018 at the age of 65.
Jack enjoyed the simple life staying at home with family. He passed his time watching TV, drinking coffee, and smoking cigarettes outside. He loved watching the squirrels and birds. Jack loved playing the lottery and never missed a week buying a ticket. He wanted to win the lotto not for himself but to help out the family.
He loved the Italian holidays, spending time with family, and eating all the traditional Italian food and desserts. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Catherine Salvaggio and his brother John A. Salvaggio.
Jack is survived by his twin brother Charles D. Salvaggio and wife Elizabeth, his sister Tammy Salvaggio Martino, his sister-in-law Marybess Salvaggio Guzzetta and husband Bernie. Nieces and nephews - Cathy Salvaggio, Stephanie Salvaggio, Virginia Salvaggio Manlove, Charles D. Salvaggio II, John A. Salvaggio II, Joseph Martino, and Anna Martino Morris.
