James Morris Connelly

James Morris Connelly was born October 16, 1936 and passed from this life on September 1, 2016. He was born in Eunice, Louisiana to Morris and Jeannine "Jimmie" Connelly and was a lifelong resident of Channelview, Texas.

He was a retired draftsman engineer and a loving father, brother and friend. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.

James is preceded in death by; parents, Morris and Jeannine "Jimmie" Connelly; daughter, Amanda Connelly Smith and brother, Hartman Connelly.

He is survived by; son, Morris Connelly of Pearland, Texas; daughters; Ileene Connelly of Nashville, Tennessee, Coleen Connelly of The Woodlands, Texas, Donna Connelly of Sealy, Texas, and Kimberly Connelly Ritter of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister; Jeannine Connelly Foster of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother; Tyrone Connelly of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandsons; Matthew, Richard, and Andrew; five granddaughters; Amber. Alison, Valerie, Sarah and Lauren; six great grandchildren; Abby, Raven, Sarah, Connie, Logan, and Anna.

Visitation for Mr. Connelly will be held at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel 1015 Federal Rd. Houston, TX 77015 on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 9: 00 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral Service will also be held at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park 2602 S. Houston Ave. Humble, TX 77396.
