 Hey (man) as Buddy would tell me . Buddy was my friend he was my teacher and is a good man. The past year for me and my family Buddy coming into our lives was awesome thank you Buddy. We joked around we talked we sat in front of the T.V. Spent time together quality time since my father lives so far away he was like my second father figure. Thank you Buddy for making awesome memories this past year.  Many times you told me it was the best year you ever had. Same here you thought me many things thanks. I'm not sad or mad that your gone I'm actually glad for you Bud.  It's time for you to find the eternal peace with your mom and dad. No more painful suffering just relax now and let go may. Buddy, it was an honor to have gotten to know you! I will always remember our outings together your big smile on your face when you'd see me walking in through the front door. It was my pleasure to take care of you! I will never forget our last day together I'm so happy that we got a chance to eat your favorite meal at MC Donald's. Our Saturday meals at Denny's where the best. You always made my family & I feel like we where part of your own family. Your heart was filled with so much love to give. My children will never forget grandpa buddy. We will always hold a piece of you in our hearts. I have so many memories of us together that it would take me forever to write them down. I will always wear my hummingbird pin in memory of you. Love you for ever.

Buddy was a great guy and the only man in our group of friends who really knew how to dance. When we had parties he was always exhausted because all the women wanted to dance with him. He would be on the dance floor all night long.

James Davis, or as we know him as "buddy", was a great man. Very kind, big hearted, and just a man who has lived life to the fullest. I used to do his landscaping on his yard, he would always be checking up on me. And just about every time he would ask if I needed some water, or a towel to wipe off my sweat in the hot sun. Although, buddy felt more than just a boss, (one of his nicknames for me) he felt like a part of our family. So whenever my sister and mother would go to tend to buddies needs, I would go to just chat with him, have our coffee, and sometimes eat or breakfast together too. We would talk about sports, cars, real cool stuff. For instance I had no idea we had went to Stevenson elementary! I especially loved the stories he would tell about when he served in the Air Force. Every time I got a chance to visit him in the mornings he had a different story to tell. All of them would just put a smile of both our faces. It really just hit me hard when I had heard about his situation. That still didn't change anything, we would still have our coffee, and our laughs. God has received another angel from earth into heaven and we all shouldn't feel too bad that he is gone. He's in a better place, were he can finally rest in peace. We will all miss you buddy, I know you can see us from up there! C:

He opened up his golden gates on that heartbreaking day,and with his arms around you, you gently slipped away. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone.
