Sadly, I never had the pleasure to meet Mr. Fawcett or Farrah.
However, my father Roy was very close friends with both of them.

My dad told me that he helped save Mr. Fawcett’s business in the early days.

The funny thing that happened after all this, was when Ryan called my dad to *thank him* for all that he did. And Ryan then said: * A happy Jim, makes for a happy Farrah! And a happy Farrah makes me happy*

I always laugh when I think about that, I can actually picture Ryan saying this!

I personally had two chances to meet Farrah. Sadly, something came up both times and it never happened.

My dad really liked Jim, as how he knew him. He said he was great person to work with and had a great sense of humor.

I wish I could’ve met both Mr. Fawcett and Farrah.

Although, I never met Farrah. She did give me this great autograph picture and autograph poster.

Farrah wrote: «  Erik, with love and kisses and regards to your dad too, Farrah »

I remember dad telling me that Farrah loved her dad SO much, that she « « « « would’ve done anything and everything possible for him »

She was devoted to him!

Although it’s been over decade... please accept my condolences to the entire Fawcett family and all loved ones.

May both Mr. Fawcett and Farrah Rest In Peace.

After reading all the wonderful memories of James and his family, I know this was a family that was dearly loved by so many. I was just reading about Farrah on line, when I stumbled on the news that her father had passed a short time after she did.
My deepest sympathy is extended to all of his family. Farrah was one extraordinary beauty of whom I admired. Thank you for sharing the memories of her father, James. My eyes are wet from tears, but I did feel the warmth, love, and joy in each one of the messages as well.

I called him Jim. He was quite a character with a great sense of humor. I first met him at a bank in Houston that I worked for. He owned the service that would take care of janitorial needs at the bank. He brought Farrah to the bank and took a group of us went to Pizza Hut on FM 1960 and we all had lunch with Farrah. I left the bank after several years but would continue to see him around the neighborhood. He was so much fun! The last time I saw him before Pauline's death, was in a doctors office with Pauline, we had a nice little reunion. I had no way of knowing that it was the last time I'd see him. Rest in peace Jim, Pauline, Diane, and Farrah. I feel so special to have known all of you.
