Biography

James Alan “Jimmy” Garcia was unexpectedly called to join his family in Heaven on October 6, 2021. Jimmy was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where he was cared for by his loving patents, Gilbert Garcia, Jr. and Deborah Garcia. Jimmy was a special needs individual, but he was so much more than the labels given to him by the school system. He was a cancer survivor, having successfully defeated cancer in 2001/2001, and he was a loving son and brother to his siblings, Gilbert Michael Garcia, Christina Marie Sanchez and John Patrick Garcia. Live was a struggle for Jimmy at time, but he never gave up and lived life on his terms, with all the help, love and support his family could give him, especially when his parents were no longer able to care for him. His child-like sense of humor and way of looking at the world was infectious and he always made people smile. He will always be remembered for his sharp dressing skills, his love of being silly and making people laugh, and his love of professional wrestling and the music and movies of the 1980’s/1990’s. Jimmy would often say that memories of watching WWE wrestling with his beloved father and family, either on TV or in person were his happiest memories, and he was able to see live wrestling for the last time this past July with his brother, Gilbert and his nephew, Julian.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Garcia, Jr., his grandparents, Daniel and Christina Baigen and Gilbert and Alice Garcia, as well as his beloved, maternal great-grandmother, Concepcion Yzaguirre Rocha Barrett, lovingly called “Ma” by Jimmy and his silbings/cousins. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Deborah Garcia, his sister, Christina Sanchez, brothers John Patrick and Gilbert Garcia, Jr, his sisters-in-law Diana Garcia and Sharol Garcia, his brother-in-law, Bradley Sanchez, Uncle Dan Baigen, and numerous cousins. Rest In Peace, Jimmy; you will always be our King of the Ring.
