He was preceded in death by his parents, Gwanda James Lake and George Edward Lake, as well as his sister, Patricia Ann Williams, and brother-in-law, Charles William Adams Sr.
He is survived by his sister Madylyn Joan Adams of Ben Wheeler, TX, and his brother George David Lake, alongside David's wife Brenda Kay Lake of Canton, TX. Additionally, Jimmy is survived by two nieces Angelia Renee Barry of Katy, TX, and Misty Kay Cooley of Canton, TX and three nephews: Charles William Adams Jr. of Edom, TX, Kerry Dee Williams of Huntsville, TX, and David Keith Lake of Canton, TX.
Throughout his working career, Jimmy worked in the air-conditioning and construction business, spending a significant portion of that time working for friends Dennis Selph and Danny Selph who owned S & S Air Conditioning. Following his retirement, he moved to Canton, TX, where he enjoyed a peaceful, quiet country life with his siblings living close by.
Jim's life was considered a great blessing to all who knew him.
