Jimmy attended St. John’s Lutheran Parochial School through 8th grade and completed high school in St. James, graduating in 1982. He went on to study at Granite Falls Vocational Institute and began his career in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry, moving to Houston, Texas in 1984.
Jim was the second child to Larry and Darlene Quindel. He married in 1989 and welcomed his son Justin on November 15, 1990 and his daughter, Ashley Nicole on November 28, 1992. Jim was a loving father and his children were the center of his life. He encouraged them to work hard and further their education and he was there every step of the way offering love and support.
Jim was a friend to everyone he met, and if you knew Jim, you loved him. He enjoyed farming at the family farm in Minnesota, motorcycles, classis cars and hanging out with his friends and family.
Jim is survived by his parents, Larry and Darlene, his sister Cheryl Crownhart (Dave), his brother Howie (Tammy), several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.
