James Alexander “Jack” Roach, 87, 9/3/1925 – 1/12/2013. Jack was born in Honeygrove,TX resided in Houston TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Elizjah Roach, mother Lola Roach, sister Lorilen Taylor and two brothers, Joe and Floyd Roach. He is survived by his three children, James, Julie and Kimberly. His wife Elta Tarter Roach , two step sons Tracy and Akili and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a World War II Veteran with an honorable medical discharge in 1945.
The family will welcome friends and relatives to a visitation Friday from 5pm-8pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday in the Chapel at Pat H Foley Funeral Directors 1200 W 34th street Houston. Committal will be at 10:00am Monday January 21st 2013 at Houston National Cemetery.
