James Edward Ryan went to be with his Lord on September 14, 2017. He was born on October 7, 1935 in Houston, Texas to parents Aliene and Earnest Ryan. James was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Markanne Ryan; two children: Cyndy Hebert and husband Gary, Jim Ryan and wife Athena Davis; five grandchildren: Dannin Clutter and husband Royce, Derryn Hebert, Devann Hebert, Dawson Hebert, Dane Hebert; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, September 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
