Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek at 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095 on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Memorial Service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek at 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095 on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:00 am with Pastor Stephen Bailiff of Second Baptist Church officiating. Her remains will be cremated in a private ceremony with the immediate family at a later date

Jane was born in Lubuagan, Mtn. Province, Philippines to Flora Batac and Eliseo Belen on March 16, 1939. She went to high school at Kalinga Academy in Lubuagan, Mtn. Province and graduated in 1954. She went on to earn a Bachelors Degree majored in History at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City in 1958. She spent most of her professional career as an Administrative Personnel. She loved to travel to many exciting places here and abroad and would collect souvenir spoons to document her travels. She enjoyed reading all types of books, but most especially inspirational books and has touched and inspired people that she had been associated with. She also loved to crochet scarves, mittens and beanie hats, especially for her grand children. She was also a very devoted servant of the Lord. She is survived by her husband, five children, sons and daughters in-laws, and eleven grand children.
