Janett Evelyn Lambertus was born in Houston, Texas on August 6, 1937 to Lynn Henry and Dorothy Louise Lipp. She was the second of seven children. She later married Wendell Edward Conn and together they had four daughters, Karen Ann Simmons, Janet Lee Baker, Kim Elaine Goodloe and Connie Diane Pot. She divorced after 17 years of marriage and she remarried Roger Kenneth Lambertus in 1975. Janett drove a school bus for 27 plus years and lived on her much-loved 5 acres in Conroe, Texas for the remainder of her life. She had 10 grandchildren and MANY great-grandchildren. As well as many dear friends throughout her life. Janett was a very strong, vivacious woman. She loved to laugh and talk. She had very strong opinions and would share them quite readily, rather you asked or not. She loved deeply, could be stern, sometimes even difficult, but ALWAYS loving!! Janett was very generous. She was something of a QVC Queen and always ordered lots of items because she loved to give and gift people with things that she was sure they needed :). She loved her daughters. She also LOVED Jesus. She watched her TV preachers religiously. I asked her if she was afraid to die, she told me ,” NO!!! I’m excited about it. I wanna see how it really is on the other side.” “ I wanna see my momma and daddy and Roger!” “ I’ve had a very good life, but I’m ready to Go... “
She will be greatly missed and no doubt remembered often by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 2:30pm at Brookside Funeral Home 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039.
